GentleFlow ("we", "us", "our") operates ShyCam ("the App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.

1. Data We Do NOT Collect

ShyCam is designed with privacy at its core. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. Specifically:

• Face data — All face detection and masking is processed entirely on your device using Apple's Vision framework. No facial data ever leaves your iPhone.
• Voice data — Speech recognition for the voice-guided teleprompter and auto captions runs entirely on your device using Apple's SpeechAnalyzer. No audio data is transmitted.
• Videos — Recorded videos are saved to your device or photo library. We never access, upload, or store your videos.
• Scripts — Your scripts are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. We do not sync or backup scripts to any server.

2. AI Script Generation

ShyCam Pro includes an AI-powered script generation feature. When you use this feature:

• The topic text you enter (not your face, voice, or personal information) is sent to our server (hosted on Cloudflare Workers) to generate the script.
• The request is forwarded to a third-party AI service for processing.
• We do not store or log your prompts or generated scripts on our servers.
• The AI service processes your request and the data is not retained after generation.

This is the only network communication the App makes (aside from standard Apple services like StoreKit for subscriptions). You can use all core features (face masking, doodle expressions, teleprompter, recording) entirely offline.

3. Device Permissions

ShyCam requests the following permissions, all used exclusively on-device:

• Camera — Required to record video and apply real-time face masking and doodle effects.
• Microphone — Required to record audio and enable voice-guided teleprompter and auto captions.
• Speech Recognition — Used for on-device voice-guided teleprompter and auto caption generation. All processing is on-device.

4. Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. We do not collect or have access to your payment information, Apple ID, or any billing details.

5. Analytics and Tracking

ShyCam may collect anonymous usage analytics (such as which features are used and app performance metrics) to improve the App. This data is not linked to your identity and cannot be used to identify you. We do not use any third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.

6. Third-Party Services

• Apple StoreKit — For processing in-app subscriptions. Governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
• Cloudflare Workers — Our AI script generation proxy runs on Cloudflare. Only topic text from AI script generation passes through this service.

7. Children's Privacy

ShyCam is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since we do not collect personal information from any user, this concern does not arise in practice.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

Since all user data (scripts, settings, videos) is stored locally on your device, you have full control:

• Delete individual scripts within the App.
• Delete all App data by uninstalling ShyCam.
• No server-side data exists to delete.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
